This LEED Gold Tower closed the third and recent phase of development of the China World Trade Center complex in Beijing’s central business district of Chaoyang. With beautiful new structure designed by Skidmore Owings & Merrill LLP, this energy efficient eco-tower whose exterior is hardly different from the World Trade Center complex in New York is home to five-star hotels, 1,600-seat grand ballroom, offices, restaurants, meeting and commercial space. With 389,079 square metres, the building becomes the second-largest in the world, after the Pentagon and the largest office building in China. The World Trade Center takes over the first and second positions of the Fortune Plaza Office Building 1 standing at 260 metres with 63 storeys and the Park Tower 250 metres.
The office space is located on floors 1 to 55.

The new tower has private, public, and commercial spaces.
The eco-tower has already registered for LEED Gold certification.
The World Trade Center Tower III creates an irregular grid on the building’s façade with an open center.
